The second running of the new route for the long standing Cronkley Fell Race, taking in a section of the Pennine Way between High Force and a new finish at Low Force. Organised by Durham Fell Runners (website, facebook).
Parking & registration: Bowlees Visitor Centre, DL12 0XE, from 10am.
Course: 17km distance, 535m ascent.

Kit: Full FRA kit: compass, whistle, full waterproof body cover with taped seams and integrated hood, hat, gloves, map (provided on the day).
Entry: £5 entry on the day.
Experience: Some experience of off road running and navigation required. The route isn’t marked but there are marshals at key points.
